On May 5, 2020, Governor Abbott issued Executive Order GA-21, allowing for gyms, exercise facilities, and exercise classes to open and/or resume on Monday, May 18, 2020, under certain pretenses of operation. As such, Blackbird Fitness & Nutrition will resume on-site operations, with the following operational procedures in place:
No more than two (2) trainers in the studio and any one time, with clients coming on-site at staggered times to prevent overlap.
Trainers will be wearing face masks and keep six (6) distance from client at all times.
Trainers will keep twelve (12) distance from each other at all times.
Entry to the gym will only be permitted via the front door.
Exiting the gym will only be permitted via the back door - clients will be required to exit through the back door at the end of their session.
Trainers will not touch equipment used by clients, as was the case just prior to closure due to COVID-19 precautions. Trainers will clean any and all equipment used before and after each client session.
Clients will be required to bring their own towel to lay on during floor exercises.
Clients will be provided access to hand towels, but may also bring their own if they so choose.
Clients will be provided access to gloves, but may also bring their own if they so choose.
Clients will not be required to wear a mask, but are encourage to do so when possible.
We look forward to having clients back on-site, and appreciate your continued patience and courtesy as we navigate this new world to ensure everyone feels safe in our studio. That being said, all clients that are currently training online who wish to keep their training online are welcome to continue. The safety of our clients and our trainers is our top priority, so we are taking every measure possible, and look forward to seeing you all soon.
Thank you for your continued support, and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
